My name is Ashley Waiksnoris, and I’m from Carson City, Nevada. I’m currently a Business Economics major at the University of Nevada, Reno, because I plan to attend law school in the future and believe an economics background will give
me the strongest foundation for understanding policy, decision-making, and the business side of the legal field. In addition to my academic work, I stay busy with several jobs, including bookkeeping and finance work at KAM Consulting,
equestrian care and labor services, and coaching young children through Soccer Shots. These roles have helped me build strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Outside of school and work, I’m passionate
about helping my community and finding ways to make a positive impact on the people around me. In my free time, I love hiking, going to the beach, spending time outdoors, and staying active. Altogether, these experiences have shaped
who I am and continue to motivate me as I work toward my future career goals.
